Within a wider build, structure typically sits inside the 30–40% production share of a project budget (scenic is 40–50%). Do you supply riggers with the truss?

Always available and standard on most jobs — certified riggers, loading calcs and RAMS included. Dry hire is available to production companies.

Can you rig in venues with no rigging points?

Yes — that's exactly what ground support truss is for, and it's the majority of our central London work. Weighted bases mean nothing touches the building.

What information do you need for a quote?

Venue, dates, what's hanging (lights, LED, scenic — with weights if known) and any drawings you have. If weights aren't known, we'll work them out with your AV supplier.

Do you provide structural calculations?

Loading calcs come with every rig. Engineer-stamped structural calculations are supplied for ground support systems and any structure the venue or borough requires them for.

Can the truss be branded or hidden?

Yes — our workshop wraps, clads and disguises truss as part of the scenic build. Structure and scenic on one quote is most of why clients come to us.

Ground support truss systems

Self-supporting box truss structures towers, grids and perimeter rigs that carry lighting, audio, LED walls and scenic without touching the building. A ground support truss system is the answer to most of central London's rigging problems, from listed buildings to hotel ballrooms with strict floor loadings. Engineer-stamped structural calculations supplied where the venue or borough requires them.

Flown truss, motors and hoists

Where house rigging points exist, we fly lighting truss with motors and a full rigging plot showing the load on every point formatted the way venue rigging teams expect, so technical sign-off is quick.

LED wall and screen support frames

Goalposts, ground support frames and flown headers for LED wall truss and projection screens of any size, coordinated directly with your AV supplier on dimensions, power and install sequence, no two crews fighting over the same floor space on load-in day.

Clad and scenic truss

For PR stunts, launches and brand activations, truss shouldn't look like truss. Our workshop clads structural rigs in scenic finishes so the build looks like the render structure and scenic from one supplier, one drawing, one crew.

London venues vary wildly, and the rigging answer changes with each. Tobacco Dock and Old Billingsgate are heritage spaces where nothing touches the fabric of the building ground support with weighted bases and protected floors. Olympia rigs through the house team with their plot formats and approval process. ExCeL has excellent infrastructure but strict dock marshalling and build regulations. Hotel ballrooms from Park Lane to Canary Wharf mean goods-lift dimensions, floor loadings and noise curfews with guests upstairs. Warehouse and studio spaces in Hackney, Bermondsey and Park Royal usually offer nothing overhead at all which is exactly what ground support is for. Every PopHaus rig is installed by certified riggers never labour-only crews, with loading calculations for every point and job-specific RAMS included in the quote, not offered as an extra. As one of the few event rigging companies in London with an in-house scenic workshop, we handle the rigging services and the structures they support as one contract. For ground support and outdoor structures we supply engineer-stamped structural calcs, and we attend venue or Safety Advisory Group meetings where the job needs it.
